What a fun time The Kid and I had in New York! We went for the book awards and did a lot of fun touristy stuff while we were there. The Kid also made sure never to have a regular smiley face... as if someone made him be in all these photos ;) He loved it though. Me too. The UN was the highlight for him. For me the highlights were: just being in this amazing city, watching him have this experience & hanging out with him, meeting the wonderful authors and amazing IPPY Awards team, and the banana pudding at Magnolia Bakery!
